Mrs. Nicklow's Science class practiced the scientific method while investigating the fulcrum point on catapults. We also had some fun making the sour patch kids fly!
Mrs. Tantum's Geometry classes reviewed angle measures created by parallel lines cut by a transversal in an intense game of capture the flag! For every question answered correctly teams could steal another teams flag. Flag values and were not revealed until the end of the game.

The students of 2D Art & Design are participating in Inktober- a challenge created by Jake Parker in 2009 to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year. Students create an ink drawing everyday in October stemming from a one word prompt. Today's artist is Viona Lee, grade 10. #inktober #inktober2023

Ms. Wood & Mrs. Hiltner teamed up to create Roman God & Goddess Mock Speed Dating! Each student was assigned a Roman God or Goddess to personify and had three minutes to meet one another before switching to the next! Definitely a fan favorite for our students!

Thank you to the Winding River Campground and the Pizza Palace for supporting the OHS science club on our trip to clean up the Greater Egg Harbor river. We picked up 9 bags of trash, 16 sandals and other items. We also had a lot of fun!
