Welcome to the Absegami High School Choirs page. Whether you are new to singing, or are an experienced singer, we have a place for you in our Absegami Choral Family!  If you are interested in singing with the Braves, please read on, and/or contact Mr. Chiara at jchiara@gehrhsd.net.  

Select Choir/Chorus
Chorus and Select Choir classes both offer students a chance to learn about the importance of proper vocal production, theoretical knowledge, and a love and appreciation for vocal music. These courses focus upon sight reading, proper tone production, sound choral diction, as well as offering a wide variety of repertoire.   

After School Choir
After School Choir is a wonderful option for students who are unable to enroll in the Select/Chorus Courses but wish to sing with their fellow Braves. Choral students are also welcomed and encouraged to sing in this ensemble.  This is a come all choir, meant for any student (or staff) that wishes to come and lift their voices, regardless of singing experience.  

Absegami Vocal Ensemble
Absegami Vocal Ensemble is a chamber ensemble, and is an auditioned group.  This is an after school activity, and focuses on advanced repertoire.  Good harmonization, tone production, and reading skills are a prerequisite to be a part of this ensemble.  For audition criteria, please email Mr. Chiara at jchiara@gehrhsd.net
