Score Choice

“Score Choice” is a new College Boards feature which allows students testing in March 2009 or later to select which SAT scores are sent to colleges by selecting a specific test date for the SAT and by individual test for the SAT Subject Tests. “Score Choice” is an optional feature, but students and parents should be aware of each college’s individual score reporting policies before using it.  More information can be found here.

Working Papers

WORKING PAPERS are available in the guidance office. Working papers should only be taken if you have a promise of employment. All working papers must be signed by the guidance office when all sections are complete. Students may take care of working papers before or after school, lunch period or study hall.

SAT / ACT FEE WAIVERS

Absegami High School juniors and seniors that meet the financial eligibility guidelines to receive free and or reduced lunch qualify for an SAT and ACT fee waiver.  Fee Waivers are available in the Absegami Guidance Office.  Eligible students should see their counselor to request a fee waiver prior to registering for the SAT and ACT.  Fee waivers cover the cost of the basic test fees and must be used during the regular registration deadline.   SAT fee waivers may also assist students in having some of their college application fees waived at participating colleges.  Students are encouraged to see their counselor for more information regarding their eligibility to receive fee waivers
